Privacy policy
The data My Guide Marseille processes, why, for how long, and your rights.
Data controller
Agence BDOR, SAS, 2 rue du Travail, 67000 Strasbourg. Contact for any question about your data: sponso@myguidemarseille.fr.
What we process, and why
Forms (contact, “Has something changed?”, “Suggest an event”)
Name, e-mail address, message and, for an event, its practical details and the photo you attach. Purpose: to reply to you, correct the guide and publish the event after review. Legal basis: your request (steps taken at your request) and our legitimate interest in keeping the guide accurate. Retention: 12 months, then automatic deletion. A published event stays online with its public information, without your e-mail address.
Polls
Your vote is recorded with an encrypted fingerprint derived from a random identifier stored in your browser, which prevents duplicate votes without identifying you. To limit abuse, the IP address is used in encrypted form for one hour at most. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Advertising
Google AdSense serves the advertisements. With your consent, Google processes identifiers and browsing data to personalise ads; Google is the controller for its own processing. Legal basis: your consent, collected through Google’s message and changeable at any time (see the cookie policy). Data may be transferred outside the European Union under the Data Privacy Framework.
Audience measurement
Plausible Analytics produces aggregated statistics without cookies or personal data, hosted in the European Union.
Security and hosting
As on any website, the server (O2switch, in France) and the security tools log the IP address and the page requested in order to protect the website against attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest. These logs are kept for a limited period.
What we do not do
- No account to create, no newsletter without sign-up.
- No sale or rental of data.
- Clicks to our partners are counted without any personal data.
Recipients
The My Guide Marseille editorial team, the hosting provider O2switch and, for advertising, Google, each within the limits of its role.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability. Write to sponso@myguidemarseille.fr or to Agence BDOR, 2 rue du Travail, 67000 Strasbourg. We reply within one month. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
