A rare gem in the heart of the Frioul archipelago
Located on the island of Pomègues, an integral part of the Frioul archipelago off the coast of Marseille, the calanque de la Crine is a true haven of peace. Nicknamed “Tahiti beach” due to its clear waters, it is considered one of the most beautiful calanques in the region.
Access and routes
To reach this little paradise, it is necessary to walk between 45 minutes and an hour from the Frioul port. Two paths are available to visitors :
- First path : Before arriving at the semaphore, a sign on the right indicates the calanque de la Crine. This path leads to two small sandy and gravel beaches, ideal for families.
- Second path : By passing the semaphore and heading towards the Batterie de Cavaux, another sign indicates a path on the right. This trail, a bit longer and more demanding, leads to a third beach, larger and less crowded.
